Our current system has little to do with health promotion and is focused on disease management. That is akin to putting the cart before the horse. It is not sustainable or effective.

Who should take responsibility for reigning in the Medical Associations, negative attitude toward preventative care and lifestyles, especially considering how much power has migrated to said organizations? To answer the question, all of us. That includes government, the other powerful entity with power over our healthcare. If our governments are in fact a reflection of our will, I look forward to this shift.

I have always taken Vit D3 and have never had a cold or flu for decades. However my husband took 7,000 mg a day and had to lower it because he was getting pain in his arteries in his legs. He cut back and immediately the pain subsided. Do you have any research on adverse effects of too much vitamin D3?
