Please keep it and build the "bigger and better" Ferris wheel somewhere else. To some people it has a lot of meaning and it would be a shame to have it torn down

I love the Ferris wheel as it has been a huge part of my life and I love the divergent series with a passion and couldn't imagine a world with out the fourtris Ferris wheel. And yeah I'm sure it feels great to rip down something that means a lot to us and replace it with a bigger, shinier one. But that's great show people that once you make memories with one thing, and something bigger and "better" comes along just ditch the one that people have a connection with. I am raging at the thought that you would rip down a big piece of the divergent fandom. And just think of Veronica, who created the story and used your Ferris wheel to bring it to life. You should be honored. Oh and just think of Theo and Shai, the stars of the movie. They have a connection that goes so deep and it hugely involves this Ferris wheel. I am disgusted by the thought and totally outraged. How dare you, you sick heathens. I am insanely disgusted you losers

Chicago is not Chicago without the Fourtris' Ferris Wheel. We have to save it ! It's a very symbolic place engraved forever in the hearts of Divergent's fans. They can't replace it ! <4

They're sacrificing a LANDMARK for MONEY!!!!!!!!! Of course Divergent is one of the reasons I want it kept, but it's also a signature of Chicago.

When i first read Divergent i always wonderd what the ferris wheel would look like, so when i saw the film i fell in love with it. It means a great deal to me and so many others. Please save the wheel!

I feel that if the current Ferris wheel is replaced the new Ferris wheel won't be as significant to the fans of Divergent! Also the current wheel is nearly 100 years old and holds some history... Surely we shouldn't just remember it through Divergent but also through it being still standing... Even if that's in a museum! This Ferris wheel means a great deal to many fans and I'm sure keeping it would be worth while! I know for a fact that when I'm older I'm going to Chicago to check out where divergent was based... Without the wheel it won't be so great the visit.... And the visit would help Chicago's economy! Don't you see?
