Don't take this great place away from kids. This is the sort of thing I was enjoying when I was that age. Don't let one grumpy renter spoil the fun.

We can't let the thoughts one individual take away something so important to our younger youth! Sounds like the area is unable to be developed and has been turned around by the community. Let's keep this place open for the future riders. As an adult now i wish we had more places like this!

9th street was a great place when I was a kid. This needs to be protected just as 9th street trails were.

Please don’t demo the track, it’s an incredible resource to the community and especially the youth.

Don’t take away a needed outlet for fun an exercise because of a disgruntled individual. Think of the greater good Austin. Kids need to have options for different interest.

A track like this is a valuable community resource. It keeps kids off the streets, promotes fitness, develops bike riding skills, provides a social scene for young people.... not to mention the huge effort and responsibility taken on by the riders themselves in building and maintaining the track.

For the many and not the few, keep up the resistance that public space is publicly useful and used.

I worked in child and teen recreation for years as a director and know all too well the value of a good place for positive outlets. This is a great example. This place should remain and more like it should exist. You've noted the impact on just the clean up and I'm sure if asked there are plenty of social examples to prove the benefits of the pump track existing as well...

The land is not owned by the individual who filed the complaint! I hope the land is used as an official park in the future.
