This pump track provides a vital outlet for our city’s youth and an important asset for the cycling community.

My daughter has the time of her life there. This can’t be destroyed.

Destroying the pump track is not what the community wants. Listen.

I hope the City of Austin can find the greater value in alternative green spaces that promote physical activity and creativity like that of the pump track park set to be demolished. The creation of these spaces by locals is paramount in broadcasting and promoting the creativity and energy that keeps this city alive with character. If those moving into our neighborhoods can’t appreciate that they should really learn to before they claim ownership enough to demolish what came before them: open heartedness and zest for alternative recreation.

Shame on you, City of Austin, lending credence to a single, aggressive and emotionally abusive neighbor who wants to destroy a beautiful pocket park and pump track built entirely for and by the Knollwood neighborhood at no cost to the city. Dozens of kids and families from the neighborhood make peaceful use of this land, while a predatory renter lurks on the adjacent land, threatening to lay waste to hundreds of hours of volunteer labor over the years. City of Austin, do the right thing. Bless this neighborhood sanctuary and restore justice for the Knollwood community.

What a waste of energy trying to remove something so positive.

Keep this track!! Kids need outdoor outlets! Keep them riding and playing instead of watching tv and playing video games! I'm an early 80s kid and loved riding my bike on trails then!

The pump track is exactly what local kids need to remain positive and productive. Demolition of the park would be a mistake.

This land has been made better by the additions of the pump track and care of local residents. They truly love this area and take incredible care. This lands is better because of them.
