Destroying a place where anyone gets exercise seems like a bad move.

I am a Marine veteran. Riding by bicycle is a therapy. It’s better than any other drug the VA tries to force down our throats. This goes for a lot of others as well. This is for families. Kids. Kids doing other things than ball and stick sports. Or sitting in front of a tv.

It shouldnt take one complaint to shut down something the community values. Please keep these trails open for the community.

Volunteer built BMX trails benefit the community and local youth. They are built at no cost to the city or tax payers. The volunteers clean up areas otherwise used by vagrants. The trail builders do not destroy any trees as they need the shade. Soil erosion is controlled by the volunteers on a weekly basis.
Your house, street, neighborhood has a much bigger negative impact on the environment than small piles of dirt in the woods, not to mention carbon footprint.
The city and community should embrace and thank volunteers for their efforts rather than create negativity.

It's a bit of Austin's legacy. It would be awful to demolish a track that many Austin residents have used for years.

One person's complaint should not negatively impact multiple people & their joy or access to a park. Let the youths ride!
