Seems the money would be better spent on helping small businesses and restaurants suffering during this pandemic.

Hurting the borough rather than improving

I agree. It is a waste of taxpayers money.

I agree with the opposition regarding this petition! There is a beautiful park in Malvern. There is a basketball court and many back streets to ride one’s bike. A pump park sounds like throwing money away when so much good could come from directing 100,000 dollars to much better causes.

This is not for the benefit of the community, this is for the benefit of a few select individuals. It will also encourage folks from outside the borough to come in and use it. The liability is too great.

Extremely wreckless and irresponsible of the borough to use funds for this when they could be helping small businesses and restaurants in the borough. I just moved to the borough in august 2020 and definitely would consider moving away if this is going to be built two blocks from my house. Absolutely disgusted.

This is a waste of taxpayers money. This is not the time to be spending this kind of money .

I think this is a bad idea. You will have people coming from all over to use it. Malvern sure has changed, years ago my kids petitioned the Borough to put in a skateboard park & they dismissed it completely now we’re talking about spending $100,000 for this. It’s not beneficial to most of the population of the Borough. I agree that the money would be better spent helping our local businesses.

I do not agree to the building of this park. it infringes on residents property lines, and privacy barriers that were in place as a cushion from the hustle of town life. The woods bring a sense of nature to urban and historic areas and from my understanding, there is a abundance of wildlife in these areas and disturbing that is not a great idea. The idea of a pump park is great, but this location...ABSOLUTELY NOT. There is lots of businesses suffering from COVID and the town NEEDS to have better use of the money to help the town bounce back.. It seems like this is a sketchy way to make someone some money. We all know kids like to play video games and veg out on their phones nowadays.... this isn't the 90s.. i see the high potential for a waste of money here, and more harm that good. I think the timing is far beyond bad for this as well as the location.

Not a good idea at this location! Could be a possible location for gangs of teens and others with not good intentions.

This seems to be a very specific use of funds that could be used to help merchants in town as well as other alternatives previously mentioned.

The location of the Pump Park is not ideal

There are several other places in the borough which would be more appropriate places for a pump park.

Frequent user of this quiet park. Dogs love it and we can wander the different trails. Backs up to homes and Malvern Retreat center .... It is named retreat for a reason. Roads are narrow with parking on both sides. I agree with business owner that Boro funds should be helping the business district. Please concern the impact to the environment that we hear so much about in the news!

I agree with this project. I mistakenly signed it. How do I rescind?
