I've been in the restaurant business for 19 years, and everything in this film is false.

Successful server for over 20 years - this video is a horrible depiction of bad behavior by individuals- not an entire industry. It is akin to saying all black people are good at sports, or all southerners support the KKK.

Clever way to continue Saru's attempt to undermine an industry that is very satisfied with it's current situation. All who have supported her misleading representation of our industry are not aware of the truth!

I've raised 2 kids and own my own home because I receive tips as the major source of my income. I am good at what I do and my customers identity that I am a professional and they appreciate my expertise and ability to take care of their needs. We are more than happy with how we are compensated in the full service industry. If you are good at your job in this field than you should be living in prosperity with the rest of us. We, restaurant workers of Maine do not want or need the "help" from people like saru and her affiliates. If you are good at your job, success happens organically. We encourage antagonists to listen to the work of the successful people who actually make their living in this industry before they make any assumptions about how we should be compensated. Thank you for your understanding.

The food service industry is the biggest supporter of women I know. Strong, smart, healthy women choosing to work flexible hours that fit their schedules. Please ask a real restaurant worker their opinion instead of the dramatic false script before you!!

ROC and the unions are terrible for our business. Please do not show this film anywhere. Not factual & an insult to Service workers by people who know nothing about what we want.

ROC does not represent real workers. I don’t need people that make millions representing me. Let them worry about their own problems.

As a bartender, I wholeheartedly condemn the message of Saru and ROC. They do not represent us!
