Whereas public transit provides autonomy to over 90,000 riders daily, primarily to society's lowest income earners, transit strikes adversely affect the vulnerable.
Be it resolved that public transit is a necessary public service, and public transit strikes should not be allowed as 'bargaining chips' to back workers' demands.
