Schools around the nation are allowed to pray over the intercom at school events if they have school board permission. We are asking Mabank ISD School Board to allow us to pray before school events in a public setting. The prayer would be much like the moment of silence during school with the exception that one person would pray over the speaker to the audience. This is an important aspect to us in regards as it has the potential to unite us as a community.
