Public Apology 'Americas Got Talent' Episode of Transphobia

On July 2, 2014 I was watching Americas Got Talent until the final performance. Having a song aired on national television which degrades Trans* women like myself was disgusting to see and hear. What's even worse about the performance is the reaction from the judges who appalled and praised the Transphobic performance.
The material has since been removed but this is not good enough. This is why I am asking for a public apology from the produces of the show. Promoting Transphobia is the same as promoting violence towards populations who are marginalized.
