choice of housing is a right, not a mandate for the school to make money off of. quit siphoning money out of your students PSU, or ill personally make it a goal to let alumni know about what youre doing.

It is unfair and inequitable that the university require some students to live on-campus for their junior year--most other universities only require one year of on-campus housing. We made the commitment to enroll to PSU with the assumption that we would be able to live off-campus by junior year. This was a big part of my decision to come to PSU as it was very important to me. It is unjust that Plymouth made these policy changes, especially because it was added so subtly under the radar-- many students that this affects still do not know about the change and are making off-campus plans. I understand that the university might need the extra money from these students living on-campus, but we made a commitment to come here for a reason. Being pawned off as financial stability for this school was not one of them.

Good morning all. My name is Alex Herbst and I am your Student Body President. Thank you for exercising your ability for your voice to be heard and expressing your displeasure with the changes in policy with ResLife.
This Sunday at 7 pm, the Student Senate will meet and discuss this matter fully and hopefully come to a resolution where all students can benefit. I encourage all of you to attend this meeting and have your voices heard.
