Asking Poudre School District to Partner for Competition Pool

Lived in Fort Collins for 13 years until last Fall. 2 boys participated in competitive swimming and one swam for Fossil Ridge. He still lives in Fort Collins. This pool is desperately needed in SE Fort Collins. When we were in FtC I also was a fitness lap swimmer but because we lived around College and Harmony and because EPIC was so often booked up for swim lessons and swim teams and swim clubs I often ended up having to drive down to Loveland (Chilson) to lap swim.

Our community has a real need for another pool!

This pool would be a life saver! Swim teams would have more practice opportunities, and more children can have access to pools in other areas.

This is overdue and necessary

Both my boys are avid swimmers. One is a state champion with the potential to pursue swimming in college. We need more pool space in Fort Collins. The town has already proven to be a power house in boys boys and girls swimming, i.e. FRHS state champs. Please move forward with this funding.

The population has outgrown the pools currently available. I believe that swimming is one of the best sports a child could participate in! Let's find a way to make this happen for competition as well as for recreation.

I grew up in Fort Collins Swimming since I was 8 through High School. Like Fort Collins being a soccer town we are ALSO a SWIM TOWN! Great college and Olympic swimmers start here!

Please support a new pool. Having been to a EPIC recently clearing the demand is exceeding the capacity. Having a pool dedicated to addition or current youth aged activities would help free up time for others that are limited based on this demand.

We have similar condition where we have 4 water polo clubs, 3 swim teams, two masters programs, awim lessons and community programs and a single 25 x 40 yard pool. Its too small and pool time atarts and 5 am and ends at 10pm with the late times going to the high school teams two nights a week and club teams getting the other 3 weekdays weekends are booked aolid. Its not good for the sports or communities, especially when the kids get most of the late times during achool year. Pools are great source of exercise and truly benefit the community at large.

This is much needed for our South Fort Collins community

Fort Collins and PSD really need an indoor pool to serve the growth in the southeast part of the community.

I don't have kids & I swim only poorly but different folks like different healthy activities & that is great! Let's keep our city top notch for all its' citizens!

Please, this partnership is essential for our growing community, especially with the addition of new high schools!

I lived here when EPIC was built, we've outgrown that as a community. There is no reason why this great city doesn't have better, more up-to-date options for a recreation center like nearly every other town in America.

It's about time. Don't understand how every high school in Loveland has a pool and we don't have one in any high school
