UR zoning is incompatible with the neighborhood . Since when is this area, 13+ miles from center city, considered URBAN???

This is a safety and historic violation should the zoning be changed.

The proposed area is crowded and over built. The area can hardly handle the current traffic congestion.

This plan will result in episodic traffic jams and safety concerns for the two nearby schools, especially Providence Spring Elementary. It is out of character for the historic nature of the adjacent Providence Presbyterian Church. I oppose the rezoning proposal and in no case should the developer be allowed to exceed the maximum density allowed.

Traffic, safety and sanctity are key issues for not developing this small parcel of land. Access to the school with on- street parking will be hazardous if emergency vehicles need to get to the school or church during heavy morning or afternoon school traffic times. It is also essential that the sacred place of the church and cemetery be preserved as a place set apart from suburban busyness and noise . I am opposed to the rezoning of this parcel of land to UR2.

I fully agree with the individual points listed in the petition and am joining this petition with the expectation that the city council will give consideration to this. This church and its surroundings have been a quiet haven for people in this area for over 250 years. It's not time to rush to develop this parcel in the way the developer has currently proposed. I urge the city council to disapprove the zoning request.
