This petition is being developed in order to protect our children from drivers of excessive speeds and those that are unaware of children coming out between cars by providing speed bumps on access roads to our homes. Although there are no speed limits posted, many drivers may be unaware of potential children playing outside during commute hours later in the day and the speeds they may present. Providing speed bumps in certain areas would not only ensure that speeds can help be regulated but also providing the drivers awareness of surroundings.
