Provide Online Education for All K-12 Students

We have many challenges with internet services including availability and the financial ability for families to afford those services.

I am the Director of IT for an urban library district. We provide services to thousands upon thousands of Title 1 children throughout our urban core. With schools and libraries closed, many of our students may be without recourse for guaranteed services like a public education. If we do not act to equalize access to this utility, internet access, our country's economy will reap the fallout for this time of lost knowledge for years to come.

Please help our students stay connected and in their online classrooms.

Strongly support Congress provide the 5.25 B to FCC specifically for off-campus secure internet access for all K-12

Include preschool. ItS important for kids too.

I have 5 children in one house who are in school who are just getting by with my phones hot spot because we cannot afford internet.

Keep schools closed

CMSD is working to find solutions to get our families connected to support an immediate need to deploy distant learning practices.
