PROVIDE APPROPRIATE SMALL ANIMAL HABITATS AT STORES!

This is SO important for guinea pigs to have the proper space. The only reason why I knew about space is because I joined a Facebook page which not everyone does.

Please just take off homes for Guinea pigs. Put on the box hamsters/rats only.

It should be illegal for pet stores to sell anything that is contrary to the well being of an animal. Only Soulless greedy beings willingly make money off the suffering of others.

Signed, and agreed. Pet stores need to take responsibility in the products that they stock, and should be refusing to stock dangerous, unsafe, unhealthy, and improper items. If they ARE going to sell small cages, they should indicate that they are for travel/temporary ONLY. I use my pet store cage for taking my piggies to the vets. They have a permanent C&C cage at home.

Employees should be educated on caring for the animals

If it is in the store people assume it's ok, I did until I did more research and built my own cage.

The pet store habitats are way too small for the animals they are selling. They really need to do there reserch before selling a habbitat for that animal.

I wish more people understood that you need a certain size of cage for your pets, and that most pet stores don’t provide the minimum size.

Pet stores should be legally responsible for selling the correct size housing for animals.

Pet store caves are often too small. Especially when it comes to hamsters. I will happily sign your petition!
