This is a great idea. I hope politicians and environmentalists can clear their minds for a minute and think outside their own persona agenda, and work to come up with a compromise.

It's time to promote responsible, respectful, legal recreational riding in the state of New Jersey. The canned response from those opposed always rely on the 'ATV is not a legal licensed vehicle in the state of NJ therefore the topic is not up for discussion'. This archaic thinking needs an awakening.. It is time for the state of New Jersey to recognize recreational vehicle enthusiast interests to move towards a solution in this tug of war struggle between non compromising preservation conservatives vs. the desires of those recreational interest groups seeking a solution that will benefit all involved. Let's make this happen. I'm 46 years old. I share many outdoor interests that include hunting, fishing, photography, exploration, and ORV riding and driving. It pains me that I have to travel out of state to partake in any ORV recreation. This activity has proven in my personal experience to truly provide and promote an all inclusive family event. I cannot say that for all of my other outdoor activities. My family and I make it a point to pick up any trash we may find in our treasured forests and act as stewards to the land just as much as those opposed to the ORV enthusiast. Why can't we all just work together towards achieving a better understanding and perspective for all interest groups while banding together for a common goal of preventing senseless abuse while allowing the freedom to enjoy our state lands in our varied methods rather than entrenching ourselves into our respective bunkers resulting in the prevention of any successful efforts for all interests involved but rather remaining bogged down and far and away from making any real progress?

It would be a beautiful thing to have a place to get all the bikes off the streets and in the woods....it would generate more money for the state

We need a positive with so many negatives going on. Surrounding towns have gotten rid of skateparks and other local hang outs for kids and people of all ages. With heroine abuse at this high this is something the community needs.

Riding quads is one of the most exciting family activities imaginable. It allows each member to use problem solving skills, creates comrodery, promotes appreciation for nature, creates an outlet for adventure and thrills, gives everyone something to work for and look forward to, and so much more. You can takes quads places cars can't go. My family and I love riding. It'd be nice to not have to drive 3 hrs one way to do it legally
