I just want to exist, that's it. Why do people want to get on stage and tell other people to persecute me because I exist? Not being funny, but that seems a bit, I don't know, bigoted? Maybe we shouldn't give people platforms to spew hate?
Letting this happen is enabling hate speech. Don't.

Hate speech should not be encouraged or entertained. Actively denying the existence of trans folk is the denial of LGBTQ+ folks. Transphobia is harmful to women as it enables the notion that women can only be considered as such if they have defined feminine features that is more in line with western beauty standards. Just last year, Imane Khelif was accused of being trans by JK Rowling and other figures. Transphobia, Racism, Sexism & Misogyny go hand in hand and should be tolerated if we are to develop further as a society.

Seeing as you're a university, couldn't you find someone with a Phd on the subject to discuss this topic instead of using someone that is clearly against the people of the minority group?

Absolutely should not be platforming this vile transphobe. She has no background in biology, psychology or medicine and should absolutely not be speaking publicly on a subject she know so little about. She should stick to maths.

The UK should not be a breeding ground for hatred. It is up to the community to mobilise and stem the growing tide of fascism, which is already beginning to take root and is perpetuated by the institution of universities. Balliol college and Helen Joyce do not and will never represent the view of the majority
