I've lived Clayton County for 31 years. My mom has all kinds of medical breathing problems. The smoke from our backyard doesn't effect her. If we are under a drought I'm perfectly alright with a ban. However it's so much easier simply to burn the leaves and branches.

I think that I wouldn’t be too far off base in saying that the majority of our county commission members do not maintain their own lawns. Additionally, the county department heads, police chief, and fire chief don’t live in Clayton County. Therefore, neither of these groups is directly affected by a complete burning ban. The county should be able to approve a happy middle ground where residents can easily and cost effectively maintain their lawns and residents with respiratory problems can live comfortable.

If GFC (Georgia Forestry Commission) has set the guidelines for the state of Georgia, and no other counties have an issue why on earth would Clayton County go against the gain. Tax payers once again putting up the tap and time wasted. Snakes will be crawling soon and people have all these leaves in there yard. Wisdom people..

I feel that this ban was arbitrary and was initiated without sufficient notification to county citizens. Personally, I don't burn often but very much feel it is my right to do so on my own property when the need arises.

I totally stand against the Burn Ban for unincorporated Clayton County. The burning of debri, leaves etc.. This ban would greatly impact homeowners as well as SENIOR homeowners with undue hardship in debri and leave pile up and disposal of these items that could easily be burned. Control of burning should rest in the hands of the state.

I agree with this protest. I've lived in Clayton County almost my whole life, and have never had an issue with burning. Put it back the way it wasy.

I totally stand against any fee levied against homeowners in unincorporated Clayton County for the burning of debri, leaves etc....
this ban would greatly impact homeowners with undue hardship in debri and leave pile up and disposal of these items that could easily be burned.
