The aupuni must re-form with the whole lāhui, not a self-selected group pushing for US Federal Recognition under the Department of Interior. After learning the problems in registration and participation, i resolve to participate under protest for any 'aha until we have free participation of all hawaiians.

I am a sovereign Hawaiian. Not a Native American. I do not recognize America as a nation that holds power over Native Hawaiians.

I originally signed the roll and later took my name as well as my keiki off of it when I realized my kupuna signed the Ku'e Petition and read the fine print about giving up my rights. Na'i Aupuni represents only a minuscule part of Hawaiians and does not reflect the majority of Kanaka Maoli that are against being made into a tribe so the United States Department of Interior can control us, put us in a cage and a abuse us like Native Americans. We are not and have never been a tribe.

I am an indigenous/aboriginal Hawaiian. I did not give my free, prior, informed consent to be on the Kanaʻiolowalu Rolls and protest Naʻi Aupuni which is the Office of Hawaiian Affairsʻ/State of Hawaiʻiʻs attempt to relinquish my peoplesʻ cultural and political rights to sovereignty over our national lands and our human right to self-determination.

I do not support Na'i Aupuni or any initiative or project that promotes further government agency over us and devalues and/or exploits our Lahui's position and jeopardizes the management of our assets. 'A'ole. We Hawaiian and we can definitely do better. We can self govern and self regulate without OHA ... which is a state/ government agency. No more!
