Hey Final Fantasy Fans, I\'m glad you have found your way to this petition. Let us hope you are here to make a difference in the game play and service that is offered to fans of the game that reside outside the Japan region. This petition is in no way a reflection of our Japanese friends whom we party with and quest with on a daily basis. This is to show Square Enix that a large investment into the Final Fantasy Saga has come from North American players and therefore we should be able to play on an equal foot to Japanese counterparts. As it stands right now Japanese players have 2 years advantage over North American Players. They are richer, stronger, and have a quicker reaction time on the server. The biggest complaint I have seen from North American Players is the unfair advantages Japanese Players have in the area of \"Camping.\" Due to the locations of the servers, Japanese players have quicker reaction/load time and less server lag. North American servers are slower and more lagged and thus the game play is slightly tilted in favour of Japanese players. Therefore, Japanese players can react to MOBS quicker and kills any chance of North American players progress in the game. Square Enix has launched a very successful Sony Playstation FFXI version of the game in North America. This has been a very profitable area for both Sony and Square. I feel the conditions of game play right now are unacceptable for the North American population. This petitions is to show our concerns that with the unfair advantages the Japanese Players have over North American needs to be addressed. Poor customer service is the only thing we are given right now. We have the follow disadvantages over Japanese Players -- Slower Game Play -- Slower Player Growth -- A LOT LESS Options -- Poor Customer Support -- And we pay A LOT more for FFXI for PC and Sony Playstation -- We also pay MORE for our monthly fees I feel that North Americans have MADE the Final Fantasy Saga to the Worlds leading Role Playing game. We should be treated as equals in game play and not a substandard money machine that can be taken advantage of. It\'s true that the richest nations in the world are found in North American and Europe, if it was not for the players contributions to purchases of FF products the game would not exist today. You can not develop a game when no one buys it. This petition has been passed to every Final Fantasy fan site for support and also passed around on the FFXI server. We hope all the PC and Sony Playstation users unite and stand up for their rights as consumers. We should be Equal and Have to get use to substandard game play.
