Protect College Station - NO smart meters/AMI

I am incredibly disappointed at the desire of the City of College Station to purchase these smart meters.

We should be able to decline this meter..

The COCS City Council is not acting in the best interests of its citizens. We do not want smart meters installed in our homes!

Please don't install smart meters on our homes. At least let us opt out if we choose. I would be willing to pay more for this option.

I don’t see where the city will see the savings

This is an unneeded cost to the city which will also reduce city jobs.

Please reconsider implementing smart meters. They are not what is best for our community.

No more health risks for others to have easier jobs and more pay. Don't make this become legal and easier to rob households by varying prices due to time of day. Why should we be liable for damages when we don't want a product that is unsafe from the beginning!

For the reasons stated above, and it takes away jobs. The concept of "smart" meters may be a forward thought, but the implications are entirely backwards. Let's keep it simple..
