Protect Wilderness Park! Your Voice Matters!

Been going to wilderness since the late 1980s, please don't ruin it!

I was proposed to in this park. I don’t want to lose such an important part of my life! It’s too beautiful to lose!

Building 500+ homes on the proposed land is inconsequential compared to the obvious long term damage the construction and people living a few hundred feet from a highly needed natural resource will do.

Wilderness Park is truly a part of Nature and all of us who use it and need its wonderful resources to survive, from the smallest insect to we humans who need the peace and connection to be who we are as compassionate, caring beings. Its sacred past and present must continue into our future. We have this chance to save what is sacred, viable and meaningful. Let's take it...and save this wonderful piece of our world where we live...together with Nature.

We must protect the sacredness of Wilderness Park for our human and nonhuman community, and future generations. Just say no! Thank You to all who have signed! Your Voice Matters!

I believe it's a bad idea to develop around wilderness Park. It will disrupt wildlife in the area and drive them into the city to be run over or make homes in other residential areas. This will result in many animals being trapped and moved to areas not ment for them and in turn unbalance the ecosystem.

Keep The Wilderness Park area free from commercial influence!

I am a passionate believer in the beauty and utility of this Nebraska Gem, Wilderness Park. Wilderness is a multi purpose destination. I use it for biking,running and to commune with the explosion of natural life contained within its borders. I use the park to recover and heal from the stress of life past and present. To diminish the size of the park

Please save this beautiful park for future generations.

Please keep wilderness park in tact! We don’t need more retail/housing areas!

Listen to the native people. They have the right to decide what happens on their ancestral land.

If any development ever goes in there is should be 3-4 acre lots with million dollar homes, much like Whispering Creek. Way less runoff, noise, light pollution, and the developers still get their money.

Wilderness Park is a treasure that is much loved and most importantly PUBLIC! It offers spiritual solace to EVERYONE in a time when that is most needed. There is no reason to develop ANY of the park for private use. Wilderness Park is one of a shrinking number of examples of public space. Developers can find private land to build on.

Keep Lincoln wild!! When will we realize we cannot survive much longer of destroying our natural habitats?? THIS IS NOT SYMBIOTIC LIVING. We will destroy ourselves if we continue this behavior.

Keep public lands open.

Its a terrible idea. Everything is about money!!!!
