Wilderness Park has done a lot for my mental health these last few years. We cannot allow this jewel within the city of Lincoln to become tarnished. Let Wilderness stay wild.

As a business owner, voter, tax payer, and father who actively uses Wilderness Park to allow my family to experience nature while still enjoy the benefits of city living, I strongly oppose this destruction of one of cities few escapes from the concrete jungle. You will be activity destroying one of Lincoln's most beautiful attractions to current tax paying citizens, but also to future citizens. This project is taking away a part Lincoln that is unique and irreplaceable by adding another indistinguishable housing unit that differs little from any other city. Keep Lincoln special.

I can not express how valuable Wilderness Park is. It has served me both mentally and spiritually during my hikes and bike rides through the park. The peaceful and relaxing nature that it provides can not be found anywhere else in Lincoln NE. Please keep our ecological spaces and public land protected.

Please do not change zoning directly next to wilderness park! This will severely impact the wildlife and natural preserve.

Although I don't currently live in Lincoln, I was born there and went back several years for college. When I was young, Wilderness Park was the place my older sister always took me to hike with her and her dog. It seemed liked another world and probably why I love being outdoors today. During college, it was a place to relax after a long week of school work or a free thing to do with friends -- being a broke college kid. Now, when I come back every few months to visit family, I always make a pit stop to go on a short hike or ride. Please keep Wilderness Park how it is.

Wilderness Park is a Living Wonder and Invaluable in providing Wellbeing to our Community. Wilderness Park has been given specific importance and protection by past generations for generations to come and must not be threatened with the Illbeing that will come of incorrect City Planning and Development.
