This is an assault against an entire group of human beings, and it is wrong. Everyone that voted for this voted against human rights, which everyone should be entitled to. Parents should make the health decisions for their children, not the state. The Land of the Free is not living up to its promises in Missouri.

I have multiple loved ones who are trans. They know their identities and are healthy. Any medical decisions should be between themselves and their doctors. Their health and wellbeing are endangered by this law.

All people need and have a right to healthcare, including gender affirming care, ranging from just having their gender recognized at the dr’s office, to affirming mental health care, to HRT, to reassignment surgery, depending on the individual’s specific situation. These services save lives. Gender affirming healthcare is not a luxury or immoral, and and being trans is not a choice. These are well studied facts. Allowing people to be their authentic selves and express themselves is a basic human necessity.

It's nobody's business but the individual and their doctors. It costs you nothing to treat people with respect and grant them basic human rights even if you disagree or are confused by the whole thing.
