Whether they are Student Athletes or Graduate Research Assistants, students should be focused on their studies and athletics, not on collective bargaining with their coaches and professors. President Obama's NLRB is not looking out for the best interest of students, but is instead trying to curry favor with their allies in Big Labor. We know that the Big Labor bosses will continue to find new ways to try and increase their memberships, whether the students and workers want it or not. We need to have strong leadership at all levels of government, especially at the University of Michigan, who will fight against this.
Sign this petition to tell the NLRB, President Obama and the leadership of Michigan Universities that students should have the Freedom to Work and play sports without worrying about creating a hostile environment with their coaches and professors.
