Please keep the desert wild, is it too much to ask that future generations will no longer be able to enjoy its natural beauty? That we leave a home for nature? That we value wild places as recreation spaces?

Hello Representatives, I would like for you to consider keeping existing protections on Wilderness and Wilderness Study Areas in Wyoming. The landscape is sacred just the way it is. I ask that we consider creative ways for economic income, putting our dollars toward protections for our beautiful planet. Development should not occur everywhere, and we must remember that some things are not for sale. I ask that we manage the landscape for the values we all care about: clean air, water, abundant wildlife, connected landscapes, and open spaces! Have you spent a night backpacking the red desert? Have you traveled by foot in the Palisades? Please go see them for yourselves. The harder a place is to access, the closer we get to our Creator. Thank you for reading, Ashleh

As an outdoor enthusiast and proud American, I am disappointed with the direction our stewardship of the public lands is taking. It is imperative that we keep our public lands and all of their geological, biological and ecological resources pristine and wild for the benefit of ALL Americans. We must not allow exploitation of its majestic and bountiful resources to enrich just a few Americans who are affiliated with powerful industries. These lands are your lands and my lands, and they are too important to give away.

Do we really need more development when we can't even manage the homeless crisis in America? It isn't that there aren't enough homes, it's that there aren't enough affordable homes. Rethink existing urban areas and allow us to keep our wild areas wild. Mandating minimum house sizes that few can afford is ridiculous! Building new bigger subdivisions and developments is underserving everyone. Lets leave room for wildlife.. because nobody really needs 5,000 square feet for their "stuff".
