Of course we want Dominion to upgrade their service, but not at the expense of permanently altering the natural scenic beauty of this area. Once done, it won't be undone!

3 years ago my husband and I caught River Fever. Now we own a place on a creek around the corner from the bridge. We boat under it every time we go out. Please know that we support the effort!! We vote No Towers!!!!!!

I am vehemently opposed to the construction of the transmission towers. Dominion knows what the right thing to do is, so make them do it.

This is an "Abuse of Power" on all levels!
Who is allowing this to happen without any feedback from the community and discussions about the environmental impact these power lines will have on one of the cleanest rivers in the state of Virginia!

Our bridge is an iconic entry to the Northern Neck. Don't destroy a bridge - and a vista - that I have grown to love since being here. Seeing that bridge always provides a sigh of relief that I am home. Those towers would forever provoke a feeling of anger at the symbol for all the things that Dominion does to its "customers".

Dominion's Daisy Pridgen said, "We do all we can to make it blend in with the scenery." There's no way the proposed towers can possibly blend in with the scenery. If Dominion is serious about blending in, then they should want to siubmerge the service.

It is so important to preserve Nature in its myriad forms. People come to the Northern Neck to get AWAY from power lines and city lights. No price can be put on the rare beauty of Lancaster and Northumberland Counties. The erection of the proposed transmission lines will destroy the aesthetics of one of Virginia's beautiful landmarks, the Robert O. Norris bridge, the gateway to the Northern Neck. The kind of people who would not notice the appalling infraction of power lines over the Rappahannock River could just stay in the city.

The views from the bridge are spectacular and should be protected. A string of lights blinking on top of electrical towers at night would be an absolute travesty. Put the line underwater!
