Hello, I am the grandmother of Kureyus Williams who served as 2017-2018 Miss Junior. Many times she would tell me how much she loved being apart of The Royal Court. Her advisors were young, but they really know what they are doing and how to manage those young kids and I was amazed at that. I have only heard about Jiles about how she isn't fit for an advisor position. Lionel and Charnelle have been advising for years and the royal court looks great every time! I think Lionel and Charnelle should continue Mckinley's Legacy of greatness!

My Son has been apart of the court all his years at Mckinley and the advisors that have been in place made a big impact on the school and the students there. It is my great pleasure to stand with them and get there jobs back. It would be a great lost if you not let them continue on with there legacy.

To whom it may concern, I actually became interested in the court because of the way they carried their selves previous years and how they dressed. Lionel and Charnelle have changed my attitude for the better and I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to have them in my life. Ms. Jiles isn’t really experienced in this type of stuff, she is pretty unorganized and she becomes stressed out and upset.

My name is Erykah Bell and I served as the 2017-2018 Miss Junior, under the advising of charnelle and Lionel. I never thought to get out of my comfort zone and be apart of such a wonderful program but I did it ! These two taught me so much about respect, loyalty, kindness, and how to embrace the Queen within myself, while having fun! I would love to continue being apart of the upcoming season and run for future offices but it just won’t be the same without them! I’m truly grateful for them everyday ! They’ve not only helped me with royal court but have been super supportive of my other accomplishments this past year. I would love to have them remain as the Royal Court advisors of Mckinley Senior High school !

Who Ever This My Concern, I am Brienn Charles Baptiste and I have had the pleasure of being under Lionel Lee & Charnelle Casma for the 3 years they have been the Royal Court advisors and I can say with my experience that the both of them are just very ambitious and amiable. I can say they don’t just make us look nice, they make us better members in our community as well. The way they empower us to be great and push for excellence is a necessity to not only us but our families and friends. Mckinley High School Royal Court has evolved over the years they have been the advisor’s and it hurts me to say that they we’re taken for granted and not respected at all. The School Year Of 2017-2018 was the most dysfunctional year that I have seen in my 3 years being there, not only did we lose great administrators but we also lost great Dance Coaches and people who volunteered and gave there precious time and creativity to the school. That is all at the cost of the new administration that is in the positions they are in now. The School is going down in a downward spiral that needs to be stopped before it is to late and we lose everything Mckinley use to be.

Lionel & Charnelle have done an exceptional job with not only advising the court but also becoming a positive role model & mentor to these young ladies & gentlemen. The royal court has been nothing short of amazing with style & grace under.

I am a current member of McKinley SGA and I plan on running again next year. I attended the interest meeting Lionel and Charnelle hosted to speak about their plans for Royal court and their future plans of now being SGA advisors and I can say I was truly satisfied with what I heard. I think they are beyond qualified and are exceptional leaders. It was very disappointing to hear that they were no longer going to be over the court nor SGA for next year. Though Ms. Jiles is an outstanding leader, I feel as if she would have too much on her plate with her being a counselor and head sponsor over many other McKinley organizations and activities. Being a counselor can’t be the easiest job, she’d be dealing with plenty of students and parents 24/7, especially around homecoming/SGA elections time, it would only feel as a burden if we (members of either organization) have things to discuss with her while she’s handling other business. I would just prefer a sponsor who would be able to commit their full time to us. We are not only thinking selfishly, we are thinking on the side of student opinion and the side of not overwhelming her with our needs. I support this petition in hopes that it will make McKinley better for me and my class’ last year. 2019.

Ms.Jiles likes to take over without any input from students and it causes confusion . she changed the campaign from spring to fall very last minute after everyone turned their paper work in

I was more than satisfied with the way homecoming court was set up for the 2017-2018 school year. As a member of royal court I can say that I was given more than enough court outfits in addition to hair and makeup that was provided for us. This was the result of a fee that was surprisingly small when compared to other fees I have paid for participating in activities at Mckinley. Unfortunately, with the changes that have recently been made concerning homecoming court , I am extremely worried about the overall quality of the court for the 2018-2019 school year. Because so many of our other extracurricular activities have recently had major issues, I am very dissapointed that recent decisions may cause homecoming court to go in a similar direction that the some other activities at Mckinley previously did.

I love attending the McKinley high school homecoming games and events because of the fabulous royal court! I believe that the guidance of these two, Lionel and Charnelle, are the reasons for this amazing group of kids! I support everything do they and will be behind them with this petition.
