We, the undersigned, believing that the pursuit of knowledge about our selves and our world is of critical importance to meet the urgent challenges facing society, and believing that scientific investigation of brain function is the key to advancing this knowledge, and that large-scale cooperation amongst scientists is key to the process of scientific investigation, wish to express our collective view that the Human Brain Project, ideally conceived under such as vision, has demonstrated that it lacks the capacity to carry forward these ideals.

We, the undersigned, therefore hereby withdraw of our support for the Human Brain Project;
