I am very disturbed by this news, this is not fair for our community. if our leaders won't put there hands in it that's going to prove how much they really care about our cause and how much they care about there own pockets.

Develop this nest, making it a cultural attraction , and a public access site, and not only a historic old center. Preserve its history and its wild beach as well.

The Bird's Nest Armenian Orphanage in Byblos, Lebanon is a national treasure for Lebanon and world Armenians -- and for that matter for survivors of all genocides. Any tempering with its integrity is blasphemy to the Holy memory of survivors of the Genocide and an insult to the human will to survive and triumph against all odds.

Մինչ, Պէյրութի մէջ, կարգ մը գերեզմանատուներ, որոնք մեծ տարածութիւններ կը գրաւեն, անձեռնմխելի են հակառակ իրենց հողերուն բարձր արժէքին, (մինչեւ իսկ Սօլիտերի շրջագծէն ներս) ու կը համարուին արժէքաւոր վայրեր եւ ուր մեռելները կը յարգուին, մենք հայերս, Ճպէյլի Թռջնոց Փոյնի որբանոցին մեր գերեզմանները կը քանդենք ու մեր մեռելները կ՝անարգենք. Մեռելներ որոնց պատճառով այդ գերեզմանները կը դառնան խօսուն վկայարաններ, յուշավայրեր ու սրբատեղիներ:

Where are our Armenian Leaders to protect this valuable site. Shame on whoever wants to replace an archeological and historical ruins which is part of our history to a nonsense big resort.
