It would be a shame to destroy such a powerful and irreplaceable sign of hope for mere profit that can be found elsewhere.

Enough abuse on the armenian people. Save Lebanon from the hands of developpers. I see nothing but concrete everywhere. This country needs to free itself from the stangle hold of greed and private property.

Do not insult the oppressed who still seek justice, who are still silenced, whose oppressors continue to repeat violence's small and large because they got away with it. Do not privatise access to sea where it is already so difficult for all locals of to access - the sea should be free: it belongs to no one, it is a subject not an object, it is bigger than us and a part of our family that is the planet. Do not commodify the church by adding a spa or restaurant to it! it is a place of worship, a place where money should not have to dictate the engagements that take place, but rather, spirituality.

The Armenian Cemetery must never be dishonored in this way.

You should keep the bodies at the cemetery, if it is not possible, then you should dig them out and bury in an a place as close to the current location as possible. Sincerely, Bedros H. Kojian, M.D.

Greed of the Armenian church is endless . Previously they sold part of the land owned by the church in Jerusalem to outside group who build a Islamic mosk on it. What is hiden under the bird's nest project is still a mystery. Do not let them go on.

Already the bourdj hammoud cemetery is being recirculated, replacing "unclaimed" burials with new. now this??? Enough to disrespect our past, find money elsewhere! It's disappointing that we can't preserve the only left existence of the orphans.. their tombs.. don't commit this crime!

I am a UK citizen of Armenian descent and am horrified at this disgraceful proposal. It is highly disrespectful and un-Christian, and shows no humanity whatsoever.
