Hello there!

This is a petition for the Counsels class to collect signatures from those who are of the opinion that our October 2020 examinations should continue as previously planned.

These signatures will be used as proof before the relevant administrators (in form of a letter enclosed in an email) to demonstrate our wish to return to the timetable and format of exams previously provided.

Thank you so much for your help!

Updates

October 14, 2020

I have been reading through the notes you left about how these sudden exam changes affect your ability to prepare. These stories reinforce exactly why I am pushing the administration to honor our original schedule.

October 14, 2020

Seeing this level of support reminds me exactly why I started this fight for my classmates. The momentum building behind us is proof that the administration cannot ignore our struggle anymore.

I believe that since the administration found it credible for us to conduct learning and CATS at home, it would only be fair if it extended the same credibility to the main exams as it would be very inconveniencing for us to re-adjust to a new normal at the last minute(especially those of us that have never been physically in Campus). It would be best if we conducted the exams from home and if we resumed school starting from the new semester .

I believe sending us to school at such short notice would be an inconvenience. Also, most if not all of us have been preparing for an open book exam and to change our study schedule right now might not be as effective and we might not be able to attain our initially intended results due to the major change that has brought inconvenience.

As an international student, getting to school on short notice is a long process and I may face some impediments in my preparation to come there for my examinations. I kindly request that we continue with the old time table please.

It’s a short period for preparations to be done, fees to be paid ,search for hostels, traveling expenses. I think the issue should be rethought and exams done online then physical classes can resume preferably in the beginning of the next semester.

I honestly believe we should retain the initial exam timetable

I dont think a five day notice can suffice and there is no way we are being taught online then do exams in school. I mean you should consider people but not make decisions for your own benefit. Please consider our plea
