The time has long past when Sears Is. should be left in peace to just be there in all its beauty protected forever from despoilment.

Please leave the nature of Sears Island to flourish, PLEASE, think carefully without nature , our future generations will die from lack of food, oxygen, and shelter. PLEASE!

These carbon sequestering untouched natural areas seem to be targeted over and over again to be desecrated so we can reach our carbon sequestration goals... the very definition of cognitive dissonance. Hiding behind the $$ "clean energy" - it's about capitalism, greed and political posturing

Slow the rush to build off-shore wind. Instead we must generate power close to where it is used. Leave Sears Island unmolested.

This location serves as a close getaway for myself and my family. The island holds a rich habitat of wildlife that deserve to remain on the island. Please for the sake of ecology leave Sears Island alone

If a wind port is to be built in Penobscot Bay, it should be built at Mack Point, not Sears Island.

Mack Point, a brownfield you can repurpose, makes sense. Wrecking Sears Island is the antithesis of green energy; it does not make sense.

Sears Island needs to be protected for all the people of Maine. Valuable Monarch Butterfly habitat is on the island.

Sears Island as a whole is too valuable as an undeveloped island to the ecology of the region and waters of Penobscot Bay, for future climate resilience, and for free coastal access for people. If the state pursues an OSW port, they should do everything possible to make it happen on Mack Point, an industrial site directly across the bay with sufficient space and infrastructure to meet Maine's aggressive clean energy goals. PLEASE DO NOT FUND THIS PROJECT.

It's crazy to destroy the enviornment in order to save it. Build it at Mack Point it will cost less in time and money. We can decarbonize and protect Sears Island.

Mack Point is the place for this industry! Sears Island for the nature and beauty we're trying to preserve with climate change efforts. Let's not mix the two and ruin a beautiful place to save earth's beauty.

We love this island and will continue to fight for its protection. Please do the right thing and site wind development on already industrialized land. Putting the site at Mack Point would be the most climate-friendly move, and would be welcomed by the local community.

if this is to be built at all, please choose Mack Point, NOT the practically pristine and precious Sears Island.
