Please keep conservation lands from human intervention of any kind unless it is prescribed burning for the health of the land. We do not need another place to shoot in this county. We already have lands/clubs, both private and public, for that purpose. Any land that has been designated as "Conservation Land" should never be considered up for grabs by private enterprise.

I have witnessed the expensive consequences of management and environmental clean up of shooting ranges. There is a huge expense in the loss of the valuable eco-system but there is also a hefty financial liability when it comes time to clear the lead concentrated soil which is inevitable. It is time to re-cognize the real value of a functioning ecology.
