Protect Rural Loudoun and the Transition Area from Growth

The wealth of the county includes its food agriculture, not just vineyards and horse farms! Farmers markets and restaurants dependent upon local farmers—don’t trample on their livelihoods.

Stop the Sprawl!

Please help keep in place what makes our home such a special place.

30K approved but unbuilt houses are enough!

The TPA protects our essential Goose Creek watershed, headwaters for the Potomac and Chesapeake Bay watersheds. It's impact is enormous and development not only threatens our natural resources, historic heritage and rural quality of life, but fails to pay for public services. This line should not be crossed as the consequences are enormous.

Western Loudoun is a special place. I've lived in 11 states and traveled to all 50; there are few places in America that couple a population with above average intelligence with beautiful scenery. There is value in that and its undoing certainly should not be planned.

I am not impressed by the fact that the BOS manage to lower property taxes by a few cents every year when we are sitting on a ticking time time bomb of public services debt—created by the infrastructure needs of our quickly increasing population. New policies and new thinking about these issues are desperately needed in the BOS and county government.

Don’t increase the density in the transition area. We must protect the rural area.

It’s time to stop the unchecked expansion through out the county. There is a limit to what can be sustained and maintained. More is not better.

Protect our land and those who depend on it, humans and animals.

We moved to Western Loudoun to get away from Ashburn hell. Please don't ruin Western Loudoun as well.

Preservation is critical

We must protect what is left of rural Loudoun County.

Protect the assets of Loudoun County from the developers. Listen to those who live here, work here, preserve the agricultural aspects of our heritage and not those who would sell their own mother for the right price: stop the developers!

Protect rural Loudoun! I am all for growth but not at the cost of farms and families.

If Loudoun County wants tourism revenue it needs to preserve and protect the western part of the County. No one visits subdivisions.

We moved to Western Loudoun to get away from all of the development. It’s got to stop!

Hope it stays rural or more park land

Please respect your low-density and open farm areas and keep Loudoun Co the way it is.

We cannot allow the beautiful countryside of Loudoun County to become a developed metropolis. The rolling hills, farm land, and open spaces are what drew me in and are ultimately why I chose this area to be my home. I moved here from a very over-populated and over-developed area. We have enough of those surrounding us; we don’t need more.
