We should not add sexual orientation to the list of protected groups under equal employment laws. People of faith have a right to run businesses and a right to decide what kind of character they want in their employees. I may not always agree with their decisions, but business owners have that right. Interfering with that right is wrong and hostile to people of faith. Another big problem with this bill is that equal employment laws end up relying on quotas for some part of enforcement or defense. When that happens, employees are under pressure to identify themselves. Even if the employers don't put pressure on employees, the government pressure has that effect on the workplace. That pressure is a violation of employees' rights. Tolerance needs to go both ways, and the homosexual lobby needs to show some tolerance for a change.

While I do support Liberty in all things, especially religious matters, there is a difference in public and private matters. If you are in a public business, or a government post, and you believe your faith will not let you serve ALL the public in ALL things pertaining to your profession, you should resign that post or quit being in that business.

This bill effectively undermines the human dignity of those it purports to protect, treating them as if their very personhood were reducible to mere sexual attraction.

This is an insidious whereby the State of Wyoming creates a special class of people who can trump the contistutional rights of all other Wyoming citizens.
