At FSU a student oganization had it's funds frozen for this kind of behavior. It is up to the University to prevent this kind of atmosphere.

Couldn't agree more. Anti-semitism needs to end everywhere, including the University of Michigan.

I was witness to the anti-Semitic events that occurred on campus. The administration, through the Dean of Students, was made aware of the events. I was shocked when instead of a statement being released condemning and anti-Semitic acts, a statement was released by the university supporting SAFE's right to act how they had been. It was unacceptable and made me feel uncomfortable on campus as a Jewish student, knowing that my university would not publicly condemn bigotry against Jews.

I am concerned that Anti-Israel/BDS sentiment is reaching a boiling point to the effect that Jewish students do not feel safe on campus anymore.

Protect freedom of speech for all students and crack down on intimidation of those with a different viewpoint

There is nothing more valuable to an American than freedom of speech, free of intimidation. I demand the University of Michigan immediately expel those that infringe upon this basic right.

I wonder how many people would be screaming, ranting and raving if the shoe was one the other foot! We all know the answer!

Campus must be a safe and secure place for all students. Groups that go out of their way to cause problems shoul be subjected tothe strongerst disipline.

If any place in this country should be open to the free exchange of ideas, it should be a college campus. The opportunity to freely discuss opposing views without fear for physical or emotional intimidation is essential. Any campus in this country needs to safe guard this liberty as part of it's mission. Any group that feels the need to quash opposong opinions needs to re-think their position at the very least or have their access to the educational community restricted until they can find a way to participate in a responsible manner.
