Has the new council gone mad, what on earth are they wanting to achieve, they should be promoting healthy lifestyle and filling the leisure centres with people not stopping childrens swimming lessons.

Ridiculous. My eldest is a great swimmer because of 1:1 lessons and my youngest it currently getting 1:1. If it wasn't for the lessons we wouldn't even be in the pool each week.

My children's swimming ability only improved after receiving private lessons which facilitated smaller groups. I would be very disappointed in our new council if they were to enforce this ruling.

This is an essential services and without it alot of kids will reach adult life without the ability to swim. Swimming is a lifesaving skill. Please don't take this away for our kids.
