My grandson has been taking lessons with Jonathan of ripples aqua school he is only 4 years old and is now on level 4 we are devastated our lessons can not continue

I really can't see the point in the increase except to get rid of the very hardworking teachers. we take the pressure of the council lessons, which r at capacity. without the teachers the council will lose over 200 children's fees and 200 parents spectator fees. its just madness, but the start of things to come, private swim teachers this week, school swim teacher, personal trainers football club feesay all be next in line. let's fight for what we what.

We need to know how and why this decision was taken, and a general clause of "health and safety" or "child protection is not enough. Surely stopping lessons will reduce traffic to the pools and facilities and make them less sustainable??

Gareth glad to see you support retaining this service. Can you tell me when the decision was taken and if Cllrs had the opportunity to vote. Who voted to remove this service and is there an opportunity to reverse this decision prior to the next election. If not can the political parties make a joint statement instructing Council to suspend any action until the next full Council meeting & reassuring the public that they are fully committed to overturning this decision.
