classes essential, as not only teach children 2 swim & build confidence - but with this knowledge given 2 the kids, it could actually be life saving.

I am frustrated by the council plans to implement unfair changes to the provision of private swimming lessons. It shows a total disregard for rate payers, parents and children. I would like to thank Ripples for the fantastic work they have done with my daughter in teaching her to swim. They have given her a gift for life.

Jonathan at Ripples has not only helped my daughters swimming skills but also her confidence she has achieved so much since going ripples and she is devasted at this decision. I am completely appalled there is very little in the down district area for kids and anything that there is is being taken away from them. The council should be totally ashamed of themselves.

Little Flippers have excellent teachers and there should always be a choice of swimming lessons provided.
This is a vital skill that needs to be taught, not controlled by councils!!
