Removing historical monuments and markers does not change history and does nothing to help us understand why history happened. It's just a very expensive " feel good" exercise, an outward show of nothingness rather than real effort in improving the community.

We need this Bill put into law to protect the history and heritage of this great state. H.B.1359 was passed over during the May session, it needs to be on the agenda for the upcoming July meetings. This Bill will be of great benefit to everyone now and for our future generations to come.
