Please save TX history. We can't better our future without learning from our past.

Removing things that remind us of our heritage is like trying to make us forget our family history. If it wasn't for the remaining facts and physical reminders​ that are left; what would we have left to confirm our heritage? It seems like there is a faction out there that is trying to make a mockery of the things that remind us of what our forfathers had to face so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have today. After all the things that the endored and accomplished provided the freedoms that we are experiencing today.

Keep all our historical items.

My heart aches because of the hatred infiltrating our country right now! The people who want to erase our history are no better than the slavers who sold human beings!! Don't let them do it!

I am a 6th generation Texan, my GGGreat grandfather led his Ranging Company from Cummins Creek to San Jacinto and had the largest single family group that participated in the battle. His wife's younger brother was the one who saved the escaping Mexican soldado from being shot and rode double with him on his horse back to the Texan camp to turn in Gen Santa Annabto Gen Houston!

Removing historical statues will not erase the hate in people's hearts. It starts at home and the attitudes passed from one generation to the next.
