Texas monuments are a part of our history. Unfortunately there are groups of people who have a political agenda and want to erase and rewrite American history.

Hope you remember racist Joe Biden’s famous quote "If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black," translation, If You Don’t Vote for Me, ‘You Ain’t Black’, that said, All Black Americans should wake up and challenge the ill-educated anti-American BLM to explain HOW looting and rioting, arson attacks on private businesses , rampant violence and lawlessness protesting, stomping and burning the U.S.A. flag, vandalizing and toppling Civil War statues and monuments, there by Erasing the History of the pro-slavery, pro-lynching, spread hating, and currently true racist the Democratic Party which was Proudly known Historically as The Slaveholding Confederate States of America, stop blacks from murdering each other in record numbers every weekend in Democrat-run cities and states ONLY? Why does BLM believe black lives ONLY matter when they are harmed or killed by a white person, especially a white cop and not by black hoodlum? (Think) Where are the multitude of protesters, mourners, and televised funeral services from BLM for the deaths of Black men, women, children, and cops killed by black thugs across America's major cities? The truth is BLM does not care about blacks as more Black Americans are killed by blacks then by cops. Well, the fact is, All Lives Matter (ALM, ALM, ALM) and don’t you EVER forget it. It is sad, insulting, and degrading that Black Americans today after all this years have forgotten who the real racists have been and continue to be, namely the Democrats.

No need in destroying our history, just make new history! If you destroy, take away what men fought for you lose history and a true reason to learn from to make changes from generation to generation! To vandalise is a crime and so many that protest are getting away with breaking the law. So why are they not in jail for doing so?! This is NOT PEACEFUL PROTESTING! It needs to stop!

It is ludicrous to remove Houston's statue. To be more blunt - there would be no Texas without his contributions in the Texas war for independence. It is a disgrace that this proposal was even considered.

This is all American history. In a truly free society, all views must be respected. If someone doesn't like the monument, don't visit it, but don't deny others from doing so.

Tearing down history is a slippery slope, and a very bad move. Left-wing groups are trying to take more of our History away, by tearing it down. They cry of Slavery of the reason, but they are false because they have been lied to. Slavery was NOT a key issue. It was a scapegoat for Lincoln towards the end of the war. The war started because the North could not impose their high tariffs on the South (which was independent and had very low taxes). The leftist ignores the true history of the South, and of the origins of Slavery. If one monument, or flag of our American history is not protected.. Than none of it is. This is purely Anti-White, Anti-Southern coming from the left.

I believe that people need to remember and respect all history. I think the states that have removed monuments are allowing people to forget their actual history and that is a shame.

Monument destruction won't stop with the Confederates. Already some groups have shouted for Sam Houston statues to come down. Next in line are slaveholders Jefferson and Washington.
