My daughter reports Trump items are fine, but not Hillary or any sentiment against Trump. Vile and disgusting administration.

Fair is fair and so is free speech, if you are receiving public funds, these children are allowed to express freedom of speech as well.

It truly breaks my heart to hear of this pointed hate and ignorance, especially at one of the most highly regarded high schools in the state. The administration should be ashamed of their actions today.

My children attended Walton in the 90s and 2000s, and my grandchildren may soon. If the school has a clear policy which is presented in advance and EQUALLY meted out to all sides, so be it. But that doesn't seem to be the case. I had hoped for better in our little, more-educated pocket of Redneckia, but I see that I hope in vain.

If students are allowed to wear any campaign related apparel, all campaign apparel must be allowed.

If students could wear Trump shirts to school this student should be able to wear an anti-Trump shirt as well.

Free speech applies to all, young and old, both sides of the political coin. By teaching our children that their voice doesn't matter because they are not the majority does irreparable damage

Walton HS should be ashamed of itself for singling out a student for wearing a political statement and threatening her with In School Suspension yet allowing other students to make political statements.

This is wrong and if the other kids can wear their shirts they should be able to wear the ones they want to as well.

It's hard to believe this is even an issue or that we are having to demand freedom of speech and equal protection.

There was also a report of a girl's headdress being forcibly pulled by another student.

I live in the Walton High School district, and I pay taxes in Cobb County. Our schools should be a place of learning, and that includes learning to listen to ideas that may make us uncomfortable. Selectively threatening students for peaceful exercise of speech is intolerable.
