Protect our students and teachers

I want the schools to keep my kids as safe when their at school, as my kids are when they are with me.

Protect my children!!!!!

Don't wait for a shooting to happen in our schools before thinking about this

if every school had armed teachers i don't think you would ever have a school shooting

We cannot continue to do the same things over and over again and expect a different result. Let's stop the nonsense and protect our students and teachers.

Long overdue !

We need this.

We have already had one school shooting in Kentucky, Let's not have another where teachers or students die.

Metal detectors at every entrance of all schools. The city themselves need to do a fundraiser for this purpose and I am certain that the local business that woule assist in placing these in the school would also offer a discount in the name of our Educators and our Children.

These tragedies happen because mentally deranged people shoot guns. They're going to get them regardless of any gun laws. They usually get them unlawfully anyway, so forget the stupid gun laws and allow the people who don't have mental illnesses to protect themselves and others!!

I have presented papers on this topic and discussed it with my high school daughter. While we do not feel teachers should be forced to carry we do want them to have the option to do so. Thank you for creating a program to protect our students, teachers, and staff.

It's time to protect our students and teachers. It's common sense.

Protect them now. Police are only minutes away when seconds count.

Please let our children be protected.
