Playground of my childhood, picking blackberries, picnics, escapism! Keep it safe for the those coming behind us - we had no gadgets to entertain us-simply nature! Please save our Peninsula!

This land should be used for the community as a whole, would be perfect as a public park and for play area, mens shed and rowing club etc......

The Dutchman ERNST WEELAND currently has A Charge On Uncalled Share Capital registered since February 2015 in lieu of HOMELY DEVELOPMENTS LIMITED [HOMELY], a company incorporated in September 2014 in the CRO No: 549655 with BRIAN GALLIVAN currently listed as one of its Directors... Source: Company Check
HOMELY has just received Notification of a Grant of Permission for 201 houses in Mungret, Limerick - LCC PA PL Ref NO: 16/1196.
HOMELY currently has a series of planning applications at various stages for in excess of 100 houses at Shronedarragh, Barraduff, Killarney, the most recent being KCC REF: 17/698 that is still open for submissions.
HOMELY was granted planning permission in June 2015 for 24 houses in Ballycaheen, Killarney pursuant to KCC PA PL Ref: 15/ 101.
One wonders is it now the case where WEELAND & GALLIVAN are planning ahead by petitioning themselves to have 50 acres of prime Peninsula lands in Kenmare added to their existing homely portfolio?

We visited Kenmare from the US last year and it was our favorite spot. We loved all the people we met and the beautiful land and town!

Supporting this petition. Local councillors and politicians it is in the interest of the people of kenmare that you support this and lobby hard to secure this as a public amenity for future generations
