Although I'm not an Irish citizen, I feel a loyalty to Kenmare since my father came from that area. Hold on to this property for your children.

Very frustrating to hear there might be a delay in securing the Peninsula as a public amenity. This is such a resource for the town and its people, it needs to be in public ownership. We have to start thinking about the future and not sleep walking into giving up the best of what we have and all deserve to benefit from...

A public park would be fabulous for this area and when all the amenities are put in place , Kenmare would become the 5 star holiday family destination.

I have great memories of playing in these fields as a child and there was always a right of way through the lands. I'd like to know who exactly put up the steel gates and who gave them permission to do so and why?? It is not right to deny the locals access to this beautiful part of Kenmare.

I walked through this land as a child with my Mother and Aunt. Now we have large steel gates , blighting the area , and stoping our right of way..
Save our peninsula. Leave it alone
