We should not have overcrowded classrooms to ensure other classrooms dont exceed limits. During COVID safety should be #1 objective, not meeting quotas

Federal gov.t has given billion dollars to keep students safe.why has that money not been used to lower class size since the medical and science table have agreed that this is one way to keep students in a safe environment. Why r the trustees not advocating this since their very existance is a position of trust to advocate for our children to be safe!!!!

In a time where, children's learning + mental health should be a focus, once again we are concerned about budgets! That the federal government has allocated millions of dollars to the ministry of education via school boards and that such decisions are made at varying levels. Where is this funding? We realize some of these funds are dedicated to protecting the health and safety (pp+e) of our students and teachers, however, we cannot forget about the MENTAL HEALTH associated with such decisions! Classroom reorganizations are a budget issue and once again the well being and learning for our children are being forgotten!

We are still in a pandemic. Classes should be kept small for the safety and mental health of our students and teachers!

Keeping schools open is critical for kids mental health and stability at home. Decisions about class room organization should be made in the context of keeping kids safe and creating the best possible scenario for keeping schools open.

Increasing class sizes during a pandemic is reckless! Shame on TCDSB and the Minister of Education!!

It’s ridiculous the class-size of unvaccinated children would grow during this pandemic. It’s an irresponsible and reckless decision.

This is the wrong time to mix and match teachers and kids in this surplus shuffle, most of whom are unvaccinated. This is common sense to leave it alone this year! Find the money to make it work and hire more staff.

Safety is obviously not the priority of the Board or the Ministry. We trust you with our children! But you're more worried about money than their safety during a pandemic!

No more online schooling. Kids need proper education and needs to be socially active.
