Our Island resources are too precious. We the people will not stand for this kind of misuse of our water. Our groundwater is a finite resource...I do not consent to this proposal!

I strongly feel that allowing any water bottling plant to be built on PEI would be a huge mistake ! I am amazed that no studies or permits are required, not as surprised the residents were not consulted.

Taking that much water for purposes of bottling and selling it is not a good idea. This is a small island. We need our water.

No one has the right to allow the export of this life giving resource. Water supply in many P.E.I. areas are already low. example....Charlottetown.

There is a real worry that under the Investor State Dispute Mechanism of NAFTA (and TPP), once we are 'open for business' for the export of water, companies can take all the water the like.

Water is our most precious resource and we must take good care of it and treat it as the treasure it is. To allow this plant without having an environmental impact assessment, a groundwater extraction permit, or public consultation is shocking and shows our government to be very irresponsible in protecting our resources.

Water is not a commodity. It is a basic human right, essential in supporting life. Draining the aquifer to fill plastic bottles for profit is environmentally insensitive, produces masses of needless waste, and sets a dangerous precedent for the future. Please do not allow this project to go forward.

Water export industry is effecting right across Canada and governments don't seem to think this is a problem and obviously there is money payouts to go forward.

We have been on water restriction since May or June. This means we cannot water lawns, plants, clean walkways, wash car, etc. If water is that scarce, what are we thinking?
Does this make sense to anyone?
